SeDaCom (Serial Data Comunication) is polyvalent software allowing the transfer of data from different Panlab devices to PC for storage and further analysis. Sedacom software increases the functionality of the equipment, saving and listing automatically all the data of the work sessions.
SeDaCom is associated from communication RS 232 and provided without additional cost. Data can be displayed on the computer and print out in real-time. Results are collected and stored in ASCII format for full exportability to other program as Excel.
In some device, SeDaCom is able to drive and control the different key parameters for experiment configurations.
SeDaCom can adquire data from up to 9 devices at the same time, limited exclusively by the number of series ports available on the computer. An additional hub or board with serial ports (not included) can be installed to expand the number of connections. SeDaCom will automatically recognize the number of systems connected.

- 1 - How many devices may SeDaCom monitor simultaneously?
- Up to 10 different devices may be connected to your PC and monitorized simultaneously through 10 different screens (one realted to each device).
Note that you will always be limited to the number of Serial Ports available in your PC (commonly two). - 2 - My Laptop does not count with any serial port. Instead, i have USB ports available, will that do?
- Yes indeed. Applying a RS232-USB adapter you will be able to use USB ports as common 'serial ports'.
